The Anjanapura Dam and Park that has come up on 6.5 sections of land adjoining Anjanapura dam in Shikaripur taluk that was proclaimed open for public use recently is set to arise as the favored objective for vacationers in coming days.
The dam, across the Kumudvathi, is the wellspring of drinking water for Shikaripur and Shiralakoppa towns and gives water system to in excess of 4,000 hectares of land. The State government had given authoritative endorsement in 2013 to foster a nursery nearby the dam and had authorized ₹6 crore for the reason.
